Marcono Hines, M.D. is Nova’s medical
director. Board Certified in Family
Practice, he brings years of experience to
the people of Smithfield. Dr. Hines received
his medical degree from the UNC in Chapel
Hill. Born in Kinston, N.C., he has always
called eastern North Carolina his home. Dr.
Hines is a member of the American Academy of
Pain Management and firmly believes in
accessible urgent care for everyone.
James D. Hepler, PA-C “J.D.” has 23
years experience as a Physician Assistant in
both emergency and urgent care settings.
Prior to that time he was one of the first
certified E.M.T.’s in the U.S. Air Force and
was instrumental in initiating E.M.T.
training programs for both the U.S. Justice
& Transportation Departments. A recipient of
many honors and community service awards,
J.D. most enjoys the one-on-one patient care
that Nova offers. |
