Marcono Hines, M.D. is Nova’s medical
director. Board Certified in Family
Practice, he brings years of experience to
the people of Alliance. Dr. Hines received
his medical degree from the UNC in Chapel
Hill. Born in Kinston, N.C., he has always
called eastern North Carolina his home. Dr.
Hines is a member of the American Academy of
Pain Management and firmly believes in the
benefits of blended healthcare for chronic
pain.
Karen V. Wilson, MEd., MSN, CFNP
comes to us from the ECU Emergency
Department where she was responsible for
assessment and treatment of patients in
urgent care setting and the Pamlico County
Health Department where she worked for seven
years. Before coming to our area she was a
nursing instructor and later a teaching
fellow in the baccalaureate of nursing
program at the University of Pittsburgh.
Glenn Sikes, PA-C is a well rounded
and accomplished physician assistant whose
background includes more than 22 years in
direct patient care. His former positions
include Director of Surgery and Surgical
Physician Assistant. Glenn spent four years
in the US Air Force and was assigned to both
OB-GYN and ER services. Later, as a PA he
held Emergency Room, Urgent Care and
Surgical positions. He is an instructor for
the American Academy of Physician Assistants
sponsored Suture Workshops and was a
clinical instructor at George Washington
University . An avid Sailor, Glenn has
sailed from Nova Scotia to the Caribbean and
Venezuela . He has since swallowed the
anchor and is proud to call New Bern his new
home. |
