Marcono Hines, M.D. is Nova’s medical director. Board Certified in Family Practice, he brings years of experience to the people of
Morehead City. Dr. Hines received his medical degree from the UNC in Chapel Hill. Born in Kinston, N.C., he has always called eastern
North Carolina his home. Dr. Hines is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management and firmly believes in the benefits of quality
medical care for everyone.
David Betrand, P.A.-C.
comes to us by way of Greenville, NC, where he developed an extensive background in orthopedics and emergency medicine, including
level-one trama coverage, first assist surgical, and in/out patient management. Dave worked with the athletic department at ECU
Greenville and has volunteered at many local events. His experience covers the entire spectrum of urgent patient care from colds
and flu to wounds and fractures. Dave is married with two children and enjoys all types of outdoor activities. He looks forward
to helping his Morehead City neighbors.
Erin Fletcher, P.A.-C. After
receiving her masters in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of
Nebraska,
Erin continued her post-graduate training in the Pediatric Residency Program at Yale-New Haven/Norwalk Hospitals in New Haven, CT.
After graduating, Erin accepted a position in the neonatal intensive care intensive unit at the world renowned Cleveland Clinic.
When her husband, who flies C-130's for the military, was transferred to Okinawa, Japan, Erin accepted a position in the emergency
department at the Naval Hospital there. Erin is excited to bring her invaluable
experience treating people of all ages with all manner
of conditions to Nova in Morehead City. Erin, her husband, and their two children enjoy calling eastern North Carolina their home.
